Aetheria
Why Conventional Cosmetics Aren’t as Innocent as They Seem

For years, I believed that taking good care of myself meant using lots of products. You probably know the routine: day cream, night cream, eye contour, serum, toners, masks, double cleansing, exfoliants…
At first, my skin improved when I began using them—after all, I went from doing nothing to caring for it. But over time, my skin became increasingly irritable and sensitive.
One day, I asked myself a simple question:
What’s really in all these products I put on my skin every day?
Conventional cosmetics are present in most bathrooms around the world. Their promises and marketing are irresistible: anti-aging, radiance, deep cleansing, packaged in bottles of every shape and color.
But when you stop to read the ingredients, you’ll find a long list of substances that are hard to pronounce: parabens, phthalates, PEGs, synthetic fragrances, harsh sulfates, silicones…
The problem?
These chemical substances are linked to allergic reactions and hormonal imbalances, which in the long run can cause more serious health issues. Some are hormone disruptors. Others simply suffocate the skin under layers that don’t let it breathe.
Studies That Should Make Us Think
And all of this… in products we use every single day.
Less Is More (and Your Skin Knows It)
The Aetheria approach was born from this very need: to return to the essentials, to understand that natural is not a trendbut a way back to what the body recognizes as its own.
We want your skin to breathe, for you to feel free and at peace with what you use. So you never have to choose between beauty and health.
What Now?
Here’s a simple experiment:
Take a look at your toiletry bag. Pick a conventional product.
Do you recognize every ingredient in its INCI list?
If not, maybe it’s time to start questioning what you’re putting on your skin.
